It good ideal to check out Sir John Barrow Monument website for opening times at this link. This is 32 mile ride which is mainly on road with few short off-road sections. There one cafe stop at the Tea Room at the Southern Lakeland Nurseries and Garden Centre in Cark-in-Cartmel (This tearoom is closed on Sundays). It should be noted that cafes in Cartmel Village do charge central Lake District prices!
