- Report of the walk -
This week's walk with Pat was short one from the Cafe in the Courtyard up to the Claife Viewing Station and back again, we were lucky to find a parking spot for car outside the Cafe in the Courtyard. The Claife Viewing Station is one of few places in the Lake District National Park that Pat had not visited, its a pity that we had to use four wheels of car instead of the two wheels of bike which would not have been a problem to Pat few years a go but mum only got about half to mile in her legs before running out of steam but hopefully we try improve this as year goes on.

Getting back to the walk, its short walk  for most of us up to the Viewing Station but well worth doing for views looking down and across Lake Windermere which brought back past memories of rides that Pat had led around Lake Windermere.

Once we finished looking at the views, we headed back down path for a brew and cake in the Cafe in the Courtyard before heading back home.
