Ride report by Simeon Orme
It was bit disappointing to see that I was the only person at the start, so after getting my bike out of the van, I followed the bridleway to the head of Wet Sleddale Reservoir then push my bike along the permitted footpath up to Sleddale Hall where it join up with a permitted bridleway which I follow up to main bridleway which I followed over to Mosedale. I did manage ride a few parts of the track but had to walk most of it due to wet conditions but the views of the Lakeland Mountains made up for this! After dropping down to Mosedale and then crossing over Mosedale Beck via the bridge, I continue down Mosedale then following the track down to Swindale Head where I stop for some lunch beside the track.

At Swindale Head Farm I rejoin the tarmac and then headed down the valley, then followed the old water board road back to Wet Sleddale which is now permitted bridleway.
