Ride report by Simeon Orme
Nine of us headed out of High Bentham on Bentham Road heading towards Ingleton, has we got start of the first track just before Bentham Golf Club another cyclist caught us (who was member of the Another Cycling Forum one forums I post on)  asking who was Simeon has he wanted to put name to the face, has was on road bike we had brief chat with him before following the bridleway from Bentham Golf Club to Windy Hill Lane. We soon back on tarmac again and followed the lanes into Ingleton where we stop at the Inglesport cafe for our morning cafe stop.

After everyone eaten up we headed out of Ingleton on Oddie’s Lane up to Twisleton Hall where we followed the public byway over to Kingsdale, then heade up Kingsdale to Yordas Cave where we stop for some lunch beside start of the track up to the Turbary Road.

After lunch we when to look around the first part of Yordas Cave (The next time the group does this ride we have remember bring some better torches), you can get quite long way in to the waterfall at end of the cave, after we all had good look round the cave we headed back to our bikes which we left outside the cave.

It was bit climb up the first part of the track up on to Turbary Road but it was worth it for all the views along the road especially at the highest point on the road at 408metres where treated to find views of the Lune Valley and the Lakes put we soon drop down to the Tow Scar Road which is Public Byway where Mr Kenner left us to head home. The rest of us followed the Tow Scar Road down to Far Westhouse, then followed the lanes back to Ingleton for another stop Inglesport Cafe.

After the world to right we headed back to the cars at High Bentham via Bentham Road.
