I must admit has teetotaller for all adult life, I would sooner go walking or cycling on Saturday than go on Ale train to Ulverston but Mark my new boss at work organise trip out for rest of Greenkeeping department. So we all met up Carnforth Railway Station at 11.30am and took the train up to Ulverston. The ideal visit a number of pub around Ulverston, then hop on and off the train at various places to visit other pubs on way back to Carnforth.

After first visit to first pub, I left party to have wander around Ulverston and take some photos of the town, has you can see from above photos end up walking up to Hoad Hill Monuement before heading back into Ulverston to rejoin the rest of party for late lunch.

After our lunch stop, we had walk around the town centre to visit Ulverston answer to the Eric Morecambe Statue, the calling back in at first pub visited earlier in the day before heading back to Railway Station to catch the train back to Carnforth.

At Grange-over-Sands the rest of the party got off the train and I stay on the train has I family Christmas Dinner in Over Kellet later on that evening with my brother and Sister families.
